Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson - born Jacqueline Luesby to Chris Watson and Jacqueline Luesby, two British lawyers - was born on the 8th of July, 1989 in Paris. As a young girl of just five years old, she moved to Oxfordshire and enrolled at an Oxfordshire-based Dragon School. Emma had a dream to become a professional actor from the age of aged six. She was enrolled at Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford, an acting school that offers part-time classes. The actress had performed in several Stagecoach or school shows when she was ten years old. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 adaptation from J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book began in 1999. Emma was spotted by Emma's Oxford Theater instructor. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were chosen to play the three lead characters Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. The debut of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's cinematic screen debut. It was the year's top grossing film, breaking records on opening day as well as the first weekend. Critics were impressed with the movie and its performances. The Daily Telegraph, a well-read British publication, has praised Emma for her performance. Emma was awarded five nominations for her exceptional performance. Later, she won the Young Artist Award in Leading Young Actresses of a Film.
