MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin popular music scene has been impacted through his worldwide popularity. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song in the year 2017. His debut album ADN was made available through La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. It was atop the Top Latin Albums chart, it ranked no. 8. He then joined Ozuna on his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia is his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. Following that year, Dopamina became his second album. He also performed in a duet with TINI to perform her stream single Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo was raised in a musical environment, as both his mother & his older brother are musicians. In interviews he has described participating in music as compulsory. He was taught how to play guitar, saxophone Ukulele, and piano while an infant. The initial goal was to be a vet, but his brother Julian persuaded him to learn how to sing under an instructor from a Cuban teacher. It was the result that he realized his ability to sing and also changed the course his life.
